Coober Pedy is a famous opal mining community in South Australia. Many people live underground so that when they go outside they reach for their trusty Akubra. This hat is something of a 'jewel' as not only does it have a full lining but it also has a genuine Opal in the kangaroo skin hat band. It is a very special hat indeed.

The Coolabah is fully lined and has a 79mm 3 1/8"brim. The hatband is genuine Crocodile skin. The headband is quality leather and the fur felt construction means that the hat will last for many years of hard work. Like all Akubra felt hats it will stand up to rain but should be dried slowly - no hot radiators.

With a 104mm-4.125 cut edge turned down brim this hat gives heaps of shade. The Territory is made for people working in a lot of bright sun. The crown is 90mm-3.5 high. The hatband is 19mm-0.75 wide with decorative embossing and a bronze Akubra badge.

The Arena is at home both inside and outside the arena. An extremely smart hat.
The Arena is a favourite with the Rodeo crowd. The high crown and horse hair trimmed band with Akubra bronze badge make this a hat to be envied. The cut edge brim is 102mm-4 and the crown is 1270mm-5. The Arena is fully lined.

The Stockman is a scaled down version of the Snowy River so that it looks completely at home around a barbecue. It is fully lined and has a 70mm-2.75 cut edge brim and a 105mm-4.125 high crown. The hat band is a 3 plait leather with a buckle fastener.

The Plainsman is a conservative style for the man who wants [or needs] to wear a hat. The turned down brim gives great protection from the sun and is 79mm-3.1 wide with a bound edge. The crown is 100mm-4 high. The hat band is two tone leather.

A favourite hat for the farmer who needs to spend some time in 'town'. The bound edge brim is 73mm-2.8 and the crown is a low 85mm-3.25. The plaited kangaroo leather hat band with brass fasteners makes this a stylish looking hat.

AKUBRA - SOMBRERO
This has the widest brim of any Akubra. It is 118mm-4.625 x 127mm-5 wide. The 160mm-6.25 crown is unformed so that the new owner has no trouble adding their own 'bash'. The rolled brim is very distinctive and it is finished off with a very wide calfskin band.

AKUBRA DOWN UNDER
This fully lined hat has a classic bucket top and with the shaped cut edge brim it is really very eye-catching. The cut edge brim is 76mm-3 and the crown is 114mm-4.5. The genuine leather hatband is adorned with brass studs and a feather.
